Hytech Evo out runs dyno.

Our Evo is making 345kw on 20psi on pump gas with excessive wheel spin. The rolling road dyno can not handle the power the car is making, so it is time to change dyno's.

More V8's.



5 Litre V8 almost complete. The heads have had some L34 valves inserted and received a port and polish. 16% more flow on intake side and 22% more flow on exhaust side at .500" lift.

Gaz Whiter's new engine makes good on dyno.

We recently finished building Gaz Whiter's new SR20DET short block for the new engine in his drift car. The engine was fitted and dyno'd and made an impressive 450kW at the wheels!!! Apparently there is more power in it, but I'm sure its more than enough for a drift car. Well done team Whiter.

SDU Dyno Day 2010

The Skylines Downunder Under Car Club held their Dyno Day in Tauranga on Saturday 31 July 2010 at DynoPower. It was a great turn out with a good group of people. More pictures can be found on our Facebook page.

The boss took out the Turbo 4WD class with a run of 501.4kw on 20psi boost. It was a shame he couldn't do a high boost run to try and crack 600kw at the wheels, but the car had excessive wheel spin on the dyno which mean't the dyno couldn't keep up with the power. Maybe next time.
